Context 1 : The "Classical Music" / "クラシック音楽" という考え方
20世紀の【 クラシック音楽 】は、「現代の私たちが受け継いでいないものは、音楽芸術的に重要なものではない」という原則に基づいて、20世紀の知る範囲にある古典作品に対して、20世紀の方法論による研鑽を積み重ねてきました。
The "Classical Music" of the 20th century has continued the persuit of "classical works that the 20th century knew", following a principle that "the musics which the modern people does not know are not important".
Context 2 : The attempts of "Early Music" / "古楽" という試み
【 古楽 】の試みが、たくさんの作品（それらの多くは "自然淘汰された" と考えられていました）を再吟味しはじめると、【 クラシック音楽 】が主張してきた音楽美やその視野が、19-20世紀的な考えに依存した比較的最近のもので、必ずしも「古典的・普遍的」なものではないことが次第に明らかになってきました。
But the attempts of the "Early Music" began to think over the other works, which had been thought to be weeded out, and they revealed that the aesthetics or views of "classical musics" are dependent on the mind of 19-20th centuries and are not quite "classical" or "universal".

それを足場にして、イタリア・フランス趣味の【 新しい世代の古楽 】の音楽家たちは、ドイツ・オーストリア趣味の【 クラシック音楽 】の視野から外れ、音楽史を捉え直しつつ、身軽で美しい21世紀的なサウンドを生み出しています。
Following these attempts, the new generations of "Musica Antica / Musique Ancienne" of Italian and French tastes have created fresh and beautiful music, having departed from the view of German-Austro "Classical Music".
New precept on aesthetics / 新しい美的指針
古い音楽に息づく１つの美的指針〜【 整然としたヒエラルキーを審美し、それを表現する 】〜は、他の様々な表現分野においても、これまで追求されてきた【 個々の感じ方や考え方をリンクさせる 】という馴染みのある指針に対する "新しい提案" になるのではないかと思います。
Even in the grounds of the other expressive genres, our aesthetic precept [ "To investigate and illustrate the regular hierarchy" ] can be a new suggestion to the old and familiar one [ "To link the individual sensibilities and minds" ].
Fresh approach to the Ancient Music / 古い音楽へのクールなアプローチ
一方で、【 身軽でシャープ 】という、新しい古楽のスタイルは、むしろ若年層向けの音楽としての傾向を持っています。それは、アパレル的な感覚で【 キュートで優雅な趣味 】を日常に取り入れ、小さな【 知的おしゃれ 】に出会って気持ちが元気になる、というライフスタイルを示唆します。
At the same time, the styles of the new "fresh and sharp Ancient Music" rather fits in with younger people. We suggest a lifestyle that takes over the cute and elegant tastes of culture as wear apparels, and that gives us vigor through pretty intellectual pleasure.
